Sukmin Kim

I am a final year undergraduate student at The University of Hong Kong supervised by Prof. Ping Luo.

My research interests are in intersection of computer vision and artificial intelligence. Specifically, I am interested to solve real world problems with computer vision. Some topics inclulde:

• 3D vision
• Self-supervised learning
• Domain adaptation
• Multi-modal learning

I am currently supported by the HKU Foundation Scholarship for my undergrad studies (approx. 9,400 USD per year)

I used to play the piano from the young. My favourite piano piece is Nikolai Kapustin's Eight Concert Etudes, Op. 40 VI. Pastorale

I wish to travel around the world more often. Meeting new people, visiting new landmarks, assimilating into new culture, eating new foods are always amazing experience!
